Lowenstein Sandler represented Starface World, Inc. in its financing round with led by Astō and Align Ventures.
Starface has reimagined skincare with its iconic star-shaped pimple patches that have been embraced by Gen Z. Astō invested to support Starface’s long-term growth, underpinned by continued channel and category expansion.
Business of Fashion describes the transaction as “a huge round for Starface—which had only raised under $20 million to date—that reflects the size of its ambitions,” adding that “its massive distribution also reflects its counterintuitive approach to be found in virtually every kind of retailer.”
Lowenstein has worked with longtime client Starface on numerous transactions over the years and was particularly proud to advise them on this most recent and material one.
The Lowenstein team included Eric Weiner, Meredith Beuchaw, Brendan J. Koeth, Samantha Fox, Bianka V. Barraza, Claire Dronzek, Mark P. Kesslen, Matthew P. Hintz, Vanessa Ignacio, Chloe Rippe, Lesley P. Adamo, Melissa D. Libutti, Megan Monson, Jessica I. Stewart, James E. Gregory, Zachary Bocian, Dylan Blanchard, Kathryn A. Threatt, Eric Sands, and Chynara Tolubaeva.
