Lowenstein Sandler LLP announced today that six attorneys have been elected to the partnership. In addition to the promotions of Jennifer Fiorica Delgado, Zarema Jaramillo, Sam Khan, Benjamin Kimes, Alex Leibowitz, and Theodore Sica to partner, three counsel have been elevated to senior counsel, and 15 associates have been promoted to counsel, all of which became effective Jan. 1, 2018.

Jennifer Fiorica Delgado is a member of the firm’s Capital Markets Litigation group, where she represents “buy-side” clients, including U.S.-based and global companies, hedge funds, and institutional investors, in litigation involving complex financial products and commercial disputes.  She has extensive experience representing market participants in litigation spanning a wide range of areas, including structured finance and securities litigation, M&A disputes, and bankruptcy-related litigation. Jennifer earned her J.D. from Rutgers Law School, where she was the publicity editor for the Women’s Rights Law Reporter. She received her B.A. from the University of Maryland. Jennifer is based in the New York office.

Zarema Jaramillo is a member of the firm’s Antitrust & Trade Regulation group. She focuses her practice on complex antitrust matters including mergers and acquisitions, and high-stakes class action litigation involving allegations of anticompetitive horizontal conduct or monopolization. Zarema represents clients before the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, the U.S. Department of Justice, State Attorneys General, and foreign competition agencies in merger investigations and criminal cartel investigations. She previously served as a trade specialist for the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration in the Office of China and as the Acting Director of the U.S. Department of Commerce Corporate Governance Program. She earned her J.D. from the American University Washington College of Law and her B.A. from Baldwin-Wallace College. Zarema is based in the Washington, D.C. office.

Sam Khan is a member of the firm’s Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions groups. Sam concentrates his practice on public and private mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and asset purchases and dispositions in a broad array of industries including the life sciences and chemical manufacturing spaces. He also counsels clients on a variety of general corporate matters such as refinancing, restructuring, and private investments. Sam received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and his B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Texas. Sam is based in the New Jersey office.

Ben is a member of the steering committee for the California Inventors Assistance Program (CIAP) as well as the secretary of the board of directors for California Lawyers for the Arts (CLA), which administers the CIAP.
