Jennifer is counsel in the firm’s Global Capital Markets Litigation Group, where she represents clients in a variety of complex commercial litigation matters, with a focus on securities and structured finance litigation. She is a leader and frequent contributor to the firm’s Global Capital Markets Litigation Blog, writing on various topics of interest to the financial community. Known for her tireless dedication to client service, she builds close, long-term relationships that enable her to proactively identify and address client needs.

Jennifer’s clients include U.S.-based and global companies, hedge funds, and institutional investors engaged in litigation involving complex financial products, including residential mortgage-backed securities and derivatives, as well as mergers and acquisitions and bankruptcy disputes. She regularly handles matters that involve multiple jurisdictions and a combination of U.S. and international law.

In addition to her litigation practice, Jennifer is a leading pro bono lawyer, recognized as one of the “Top 25 Pro Bono Advocates for 2015” by Legal Services of New York City. In this capacity, she represents a disabled veteran and his family in connection with an eviction proceeding. This litigation raises a crucial question that, when answered, will have a broad impact on service members and veterans in the New York area.

Jennifer has also worked for the Lowenstein Center for the Public Interest, where she developed a particular interest in legal issues affecting the LGBT community. During her tenure at the Center, Jennifer successfully litigated a 35-day bench trial in a landmark victory for same-sex parents that granted a gay, interracial couple custody of their twin daughters born via gestational surrogacy.

Represented Liberator Medical Holdings, Inc. in successfully opposing applications to enjoin $180 million acquisition in three jurisdictions.
Represents The Prudential Insurance Company of America against Morgan Stanley in the prosecution of claims for fraudulent misrepresentation and civil RICO involving the creation and sale of over $1 billion of RMBS.
 Represents RMBS Trustee concerning several million dollars in mortgage repurchase claims.
