Chelmie represents clients in various technology-related and other industries with trademark issues and complex transactions.
Her intellectual property work includes trademark clearance, trademark office actions, domain name complaints, and trademark diligence review.
Chelmie also has experience with seed stage and other financing rounds, M&A transactions, and general corporate work.
She started working at Lowenstein during college and then she served in the firm’s summer associate program for two consecutive years while in law school. Chelmie is a former member of the 1L LCLD’s Scholars Program, with which the firm partners through the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity to expand opportunities for diverse first-year law students.
Chelmie is fluent in Haitian Creole and proficient in French.
