Jeehaeng Lee works with clients on preparing and prosecuting patent applications involving a wide range of software and internet-related technologies, with a focus on machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Jeehaeng handles office actions and advisory actions, communicating frequently with both patent examiners and clients.

While pursuing his J.D., Jeehaeng was a law student associate for Santa Clara University’s Entrepreneurs’ Law Clinic, where he provided client guidance on trademark protection. 

Prior to his legal career, Jeehaeng was an engineer at Yahoo! in both the United States and in Korea; as a senior principal engineer, he implemented a machine learning framework in Yahoo!’s Local Search service and led various innovative engineering projects. He also worked for the startup Daumsoft Inc. in Seoul, researching and developing NLP (Natural Language Processing) applications. 

Jeehaeng is fluent in Korean.
