Lowenstein Sandler’s Bankruptcy & Restructuring Department has been selected as counsel to the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in the Chapter 11 bankruptcy of Baker & Taylor, LLC, previously one of the largest distributors of books, content, and software solutions to public libraries, academic institutions, and retailers in the United States.  The debtor filed for Chapter 11 protection on March 16 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.

The company reports between $1 million to $10 million in assets and $100 million to $500 million in liabilities.
