Lowenstein Sandler represented Rork, Inc., an AI-driven mobile app development platform, in a $2.8 million pre-seed financing, led by Andreesen Horowitz’s Speedrun Program.

As reported in Techcrunch, other investors included Hustle Fund’s Elizabeth Yin, ChapterOne, Founders Inc., Austen Allred, Expo’s Charlie Cheever and Evan Bacon, and Runway’s Siqi Chen.

Rork lets people with limited technical backgrounds build mobile apps with a simple text prompt.  Daniel Dhawan, who co-founded the company with Levan Kvirkvelia, posted on X that “Rork is on track to hit 8 figures ARR this year.”

The Lowenstein team included Abraham J. Kwon, Tina Aoun, and Noah R. Crousore.
