Kristin handles transactional tax matters at the federal, state, and local levels, representing individuals and businesses at all stages of development. With a keen eye for strategic solutions, she provides clients with tax advice in connection with mergers and acquisitions, restructuring transactions, joint ventures, cross-border transactions, and entity formation. She also handles a wide variety of compliance matters, ranging from state and local sales and use taxes to issues related to foreign operations and investment, including FATCA compliance. In addition, Kristin advises tax-exempt organizations on formation, operational compliance, reporting, unrelated business income tax, and related matters.

Active in pro bono matters, Kristin has represented the Newark Charter School Fund; the Birds Nest Foundation, a nonprofit that provides media content for nonprofit charities and nongovernmental organizations; and Beyond Type 1, a nonprofit that creates and funds programs for the benefit of those living with Type 1 diabetes.

Kristin is a former summer associate with the firm. Her prior experience includes positions as an intern for the New York State Office of the Attorney General, Antitrust Bureau, and the New York Immigration Coalition. Kristin also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Sheila Ann Venable, New Jersey Superior Court.

Represented the Creamer family in the sale of J. Fletcher Creamer & Son, Inc., to APi Group. J. Fletcher Creamer & Son, Inc. is a 90+ year old, national heavy construction company specializing in, among other things, renewable energy, fiber optic, bridge, highway, runway, and bulk head construction.
Represented Binder & Binder – The National Social Security Disability Advocates (NY), LLC in connection with its Chapter 11 proceeding.
Represented Yodle, Inc., a leader in cloud-based marketing solutions, in its acquisition by Web.com Group, Inc.
