Denise E. Panzer

Pro Bono Administrative Specialist

Denise Panzer has more than ten years of experience connecting marginalized communities with essential legal support. As the Pro Bono Administrative Specialist for the Lowenstein Center for the Public Interest, she plays a key role in recruiting legal volunteers for several of the firm’s signature initiatives, including the Tenancy Clinic—a partnership between Lowenstein Sandler, Prudential, and Volunteer Lawyers for Justice (VLJ).

Denise also leads volunteer recruitment for the firm’s name change program and has personally supported dozens of low-income transgender individuals in obtaining legal names that reflect their identities. Her contributions extend to the firm’s criminal justice efforts, where she provides critical support for Innocence Project and Clemency cases.

In addition to her legal program work, Denise is instrumental in engaging the firm’s administrative staff. She recruits volunteers for VLJ’s Chapter 7 bankruptcy program and collaborates with a local domestic violence nonprofit to support their intake process—serving as a volunteer herself in both programs.

Denise also helps coordinate community service projects across Lowenstein’s Roseland, New York, and Washington, D.C. offices. Her dedication, organizational skills, and deep commitment to service make her an essential part of the firm’s pro bono efforts.
