With close to two decades of experience in financial planning, analysis, and strategic operations across leading law firms and major corporations, Stephanie Godfrey serves as Lowenstein Sandler's Chief Financial Officer, bringing a focus on data-driven decision-making, operational excellence, and profitability optimization.

Stephanie brings extensive expertise in managing complex financial operations and cross-functional teams, overseeing analysts and data governance professionals to support the firm's strategic finance initiatives. She has spearheaded comprehensive data infrastructure improvements, including revamping client, matter, timekeeper, and pricing intake processes by defining firm-wide data ownership roles, auditing and reconciling data across systems, and developing workflows to enhance financial data governance.

A key contributor to firm leadership, Stephanie supports partners through the annual compensation process, executes monthly financial reporting for management and financial committees, and presents financial results and strategic opportunities to practice group leaders. She is responsible for developing the firm's annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and ad hoc analyses, and works closely with business development teams on strategic planning to improve profitability across revenue-generating departments.

Prior to joining Lowenstein Sandler, Stephanie served as Director of Strategic Finance at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison and as Budgeting & Analysis Manager at Kaye Scholer LLP (now Arnold & Porter), She has also held senior financial analyst and senior accountant roles at Siemens Financial Services.

Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Montclair State University.
