  In Information Week, Maureen Naughton, Lowenstein’s Chief Information & Innovation and Officer, describes how the firm evaluates AI models and prioritizes security, integration and agentic readiness. “Security and confidentiality aren't one factor among several, they are the threshold test,” she says. Rather than select a single provider, Naughton’s teams employ a handful of AI platforms for specific uses: “We think of them as occupying distinct lanes rather than competing for one seat.” She adds: “The healthiest version of this is governance setting the boundaries and the front line driving the priorities.”

  Lowenstein’s Chief Administrative Officer Maureen Naughton is quoted in Bloomberg Law’s exploration of how law firms are using AI and data analytics to increase productivity, generate new business, and add new services. Naughton says it’s “bad business practice” to fail to take advantage of all the technological tools available that can reduce the time lawyers and staff spend on basic tasks and improve profitability.

  Law360 reports on the addition of two new members to Lowenstein Sandler’s senior management team: Maureen Naughton, Chief Administrative Officer, and Jared Kaplan, Chief Innovation & Information Officer, whom firm Chief Operating Officer Michael R. Caplan says will play an integral part of role in the firm's expansion plans. Naughton, who previously worked with Caplan at another law firm, says "I'm very excited to work with Mike again and to welcome Jared. It's a … time filled with growth and new ideas and innovation."
