Yelky Perez focuses on corporate transactions relating to the financing of loans and servicing rights, asset purchases and sales, and other general capital markets matters. Her experience includes counseling clients on matters pertaining to IPOs, financings, due diligence, and bankruptcy asset purchase deals. She also works with pro bono clients such as Volunteer Lawyers for Justice.
Yelky is a previous Lowenstein summer associate and 1L Summer Scholar. While in law school, she was an extern for the Hon. Judge Esther Salas of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
She is founder and Chair of the Board of Directors of the Beyond the Books Initiative, Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides scholarships to offset the cost of law books to entering law students with demonstrated financial needs.
Yelky is fluent in Spanish.
