Marc's practice focuses on advising private funds regarding their structuring, formation, and operation, as well as advising institutional clients with respect to investments in private funds. Marc regularly counsels investment managers on compliance with related regulations and other supervisory issues. He also advises on corporate law matters for major corporations and private equity sponsors, as well as securities offerings for both issuers and underwriters.
Prior to joining the firm, Marc spent a summer at Chadbourne & Parke LLP (now Norton Rose Fulbright) and also worked with the legal department of Credit-Suisse. In law school, Marc served as a member of the Business Law Society and was elected as class representative for the Duke Bar Association. He remains active with his alma maters, serving on the leadership council at both Syracuse University and the Duke Law Alumni Club of New York.
