Alex D. Stone counsels private equity fund sponsors on the formation, marketing and management of various investment products, including private equity funds of funds and hedge funds, advising on legal, compliance and governance matters, internal economic arrangements, spinouts, and separately managed accounts.

Alex also represents investors in connection with the review and negotiation of investments in hedge, venture capital and private equity funds.

Alex has experience in structuring and negotiating a range of strategic investments, as well as joint ventures, co-investment vehicles, managed accounts, "funds of one" and other strategic relationships. He has also advised investment managers on the structure and sale of their investment management businesses.

In addition, Alex also works with buyers and sellers in their private equity secondary market activities, such as traditional portfolio sales, structured secondaries, synthetic secondaries, stapled secondary offerings, fund recapitalizations and restructurings.
