Adesimisola “Lizzy” Tijani works on a variety of corporate matters, including fund formation, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and other complex transactions.

While pursuing her J.D., Lizzy interned at Tapestry, Inc., supporting in-house counsel by reviewing contracts and conducting comprehensive trademark, design, and copyright clearance searches. Additionally, she participated in her law school’s Filmmakers Legal Clinic, where she assisted in drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and releases, and securing copyright and intellectual property protection for independent filmmakers. 

Prior to her legal career, Lizzy held positions as development and partnership coordinator for the National Harm Reduction Coalition and technology data steward for the Kroll Bond Rating Agency. 

Committed to community service and social justice, Lizzy frequently mentors students of color in coding and technology initiatives.
