Clients turn to Nicole for a thoughtful analysis of their rights as debtors and for strategic solutions in complex insolvency cases. She handles the full spectrum of debtors’ Chapter 11 matters, from preparation of petitions, schedules, and other filings to drafting and oversight of motions to in-court argument. Nicole also represents creditors’ committees and other parties of interest in bankruptcy cases across the country.

Nicole’s work on a high-profile case involving the complete reorganization of the New York City Opera–whose assets were largely restricted–garnered widespread attention. Frequently quoted in financial media on bankruptcy issues, she has received multiple peer accolades. Nicole was named a New Leader of the Bar by the New Jersey Law Journal and an Emerging Leader by The M&A Advisor, both in 2016. Nicole currently serves as the Co-Chair for the New Jersey Network of the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation, and has been a member of IWIRC-NJ’s board since 2012.

Prior to joining Lowenstein Sandler, Nicole served as the law clerk to the Honorable Kevin Gross, U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
