Clients seek Nicole for a thoughtful analysis of their rights as debtors and for strategic solutions in complex insolvency cases. As a strong advocate both in and out of the courtroom, Nicole counsels clients in connection with the sale and acquisition of distressed assets and other transactional matters. She also represents creditors’ committees and other parties of interest in bankruptcy cases throughout the country.

Nicole’s role as lead counsel for New York City Opera’s reorganization garnered widespread attention in 2015. She was recognized as a New Leader of the Bar by the New Jersey Law Journal in 2016. As a frequent author on timely legal topics, Nicole contributes to legal treatises and other business publications, and speaks at national conferences on distressed debt and new developments in bankruptcy law. She currently serves as the Co-Chair for the New Jersey Network of the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation, and has been a member of IWIRC-NJ’s board since 2012. Nicole is a leader in the firm’s pro bono efforts, having represented more than a dozen individuals who filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection.

Prior to joining Lowenstein Sandler, Nicole served as the law clerk to the Honorable Kevin Gross, U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
