Lowenstein Sandler’s Bankruptcy & Restructuring Department has been selected as counsel to the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in the Chapter 11 bankruptcy of Meritage Hospitality Group Inc., a major restaurant operator and one of the largest franchisees of Wendy's with over 300 locations in 15 states. Meritage Hospitality Group Inc. filed for Chapter 11 protection in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Michigan.
The company reports between $10 million to $50 million in both assets and liabilities.
