Cassandra is a strategic legal advisor and counsel who brings keen insight and judgment to bear when advising clients. Her experience spans several disciplines, including federal and state privacy law; health-related federal privacy law; and regulations issued by the Office of Civil Rights (OCR), the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and state governments and agencies (including state attorneys general). Her involvement in privacy-related law has allowed her to build in-depth understanding of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and the Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing Act (CAN-SPAM). Her other areas of focus include corporate restructuring and creditors’ rights.

Cassandra is Co-chair of the New Jersey Chapter of the International Association of Privacy Professionals. She also co-chairs its annual event What It Is (Really) Like to Practice Law as a Woman, cosponsored by the New York Women’s Bar Association and the Association of the Bar for the City of New York.

Cassandra is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), the preeminent credential in the field of information privacy.

Prior to joining Lowenstein Sandler, Cassandra was law clerk to the Honorable Cecelia G. Morris of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of the Southern District of New York. She was also the Assistant Managing Attorney at Kaye Scholer LLP, where her practice focused on federal and state civil litigation matters.
