Sydney focuses her practice on antitrust matters, including mergers and acquisitions, government investigations, and complex litigation. She has worked on antitrust matters in the pharmaceutical, internet advertising, and other technology-based industries.
Sydney’s litigation experience includes defense of clients facing regulatory enforcement actions by government agencies, as well as both criminal and civil litigation in state and federal courts. She has also assisted in arbitrations.
Committed to pro bono work, Sydney was a member of the team that mounted a successful constitutional challenge to the Pentagon’s former transgender service policy, which discharged or denied enlistment to anyone refusing to serve in the gender to which they were assigned at birth or undergoing gender-confirmation procedures.
