Oluwaseyi Amorin advises tech startups, private equity clients, and investment funds on intellectual property issues involving venture capital funding, mergers, and acquisitions.

She leads IP due diligence on a wide range of technology-focused deals, often involving companies working with open-source software. In addition to conducting IP reviews of complex transactions and negotiating IP and privacy provisions in their respective agreements. Oluwaseyi drafts privacy policies and terms of service agreements, and negotiates commercial contracts with vendors and counter parties on such issues as independent contracting, referrals and resales, and IP confirmation, to name a few.

Oluwaseyi also counsels clients on compliance with state, federal, and international privacy and data protection laws, including GDPR in Europe. She has experience working with clients in the wake of a data breach.

Active in the firm’s Women’s Initiative and Diversity Leadership Network, Oluwaseyi was a Lowenstein summer associate for two consecutive years, including as a member of the highly selective 1L LCLD’s Scholars Program. Her pro bono experience includes representing clients facing eviction and handled immigration matters.
