Natalie advises financial institutions on structuring, formation, and operation, as well as on regulatory and compliance matters. She has a special focus on over-the-counter derivative trading and related master agreements.
Natalie works on matters involving financial regulation, capital markets, closing fund formation transactions, compliance and enforcement, credit risk management, and insolvency. She has also assisted in the corporate restructuring of a multinational lending institution in response to a federal consent order requiring increased company oversight and accountability.
While in law school, Natalie interned with the Brooklyn Law Incubator and Policy (BLIP) Clinic, providing startup companies with legal advice pertaining to corporate formation, acquisitions, and corporate transactions. She advised on entity selection, cybersquatting, and domain name issues; drafted and negotiated privacy policies, data privacy contracts, and terms of use agreements; and performed trademark clearance searches.
Natalie also worked as a summer associate at The Estée Lauder Companies Incorporated, where she drafted and negotiated license and settlement agreements, intellectual property assignment and transfer agreements, employment due diligence provisions, internet and e-commerce agreements, and technology sharing agreements.
She previously served as a judicial intern to the Hon. Carmen R. Velasquez in the New York State Supreme Court, Queens County.
