Megan has also garnered a strong track record in front of the IRS and Tax Court. She has assisted clients in achieving highly satisfactory outcomes when faced with estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax controversies. Her practice before the IRS includes ruling requests, voluntary disclosures, audit defense, IRS Office of Appeals, and court.

As adjunct professor and supervising attorney for Howard University School of Law, Megan co-developed and teaches the Estate Planning and Heirs’ Property Clinic, which addresses the racial estate planning gap and combats problems associated with heirs’ property by assisting low-income and BIPOC clients who historically have not had access to or information about estate planning services.
