Companies, investors, and entrepreneurs turn to Matteo Daste for his vast experience providing strategic advice and finding creative solutions for clients throughout Silicon Valley, across the United States, and internationally.

Matteo represents domestic and foreign clients in corporate and venture finance, governance, organizational, and operational matters, as well as mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations. He frequently counsels businesses and investors on cross-border transactions between Europe and the United States, primarily in the technology sector, as well as in the evolving digital asset/cryptocurrency and fintech sectors.

Matteo’s experience also includes representing issuers, including financial institutions, in U.S. capital markets transactions. A frequent speaker on securities regulation and emerging markets, he has addressed audiences across the U.S, and Italy, from Stanford University to the Italian Parliament. He is also a fellow of the Intentac International Entrepreneurship Academy of the Jönköping University in Sweden.

Matteo is a founder of the Business Association Italy America (BAIA) and was on the founding board of the Mind The Bridge Foundation. He currently sits on the board of directors of Italian Community Services, a 100-year-old nonprofit organization based in San Francisco. He also serves as outside counsel (legale di fiducia) to the Italian General Consulate in San Francisco.
