Lidore DeRose has over 20 years of experience as a mergers and acquisitions (M&A) attorney, with a focus on advising clients on the effective use of representation and warranty insurance (RWI) policies and other transaction risk insurance products.

Lidore provides legal and strategic advice to clients on complex M&A transactions, including procuring RWI policies to mitigate the risk of loss arising from such transactions, as well as negotiating purchase agreements and related documents. Her extensive experience as an M&A attorney and in the transaction risk insurance industry enhances her ability to provide counsel on the business and legal risks of acquisition targets through her deep understanding of due diligence findings and the RWI underwriting process. She has unique market insight, deep industry relationships with underwriters and brokers, and a track record of obtaining highly favorable terms for her clients.

Prior to joining Lowenstein, Lidore practiced corporate law at several leading Am Law 100 firms, representing public and private companies and institutional investors in mergers, stock and asset acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and other complex business transactions.  She has also held leadership roles at insurance brokerages and has underwriting experience in the transaction risk insurance industry.
