Latoya is a member of the Corporate practice group, where she focuses on startup formation and corporate transactions. She is a former Lowenstein summer associate.
During law school, Latoya worked with Vanderbilt Law School’s Pro Bono Breaks in its Community Economic Development Group. She was one of two first-year students selected to assist with creating a new 501(c)(3) organization, for which she drafted conflict of interest and compensation policies and a volunteer contract template.
She also interned with the Atlanta Legal Aid Society, where she assisted homeowners facing foreclosures and homebuyers victimized by predatory mortgage lending. Latoya also worked as a legal assistant in the Kings County District Attorney’s office.
