Kale Pasch works on a variety of corporate matters, including fund formation, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and other complex transactions, with an emphasis on emerging companies, fintech, and venture-backed startups.

While pursuing his J.D., Kale was a research fellow and teaching assistant at The Rutgers Center for Corporate Law and Governance, where he focused on crypto-asset international regulation. He was also a senior legal specialist with the New Jersey Economic Development Authority’s (NJEDA) legislative affairs team.

Before his legal career, Kale worked as a national bank regulator for the United States Treasury Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and for leading financial institutions in product development and regulatory-technology compliance roles. Kale is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a full-stack software engineer.

Kale is also an entrepreneur: he has founded several startups in the fintech and sustainability tech space, including a wealth management technology platform and a VC-backed fintech that optimized savings deposit rates across all 12,000 financial institutions for retail customers.

Kale frequently represents indigent clients pro bono in criminal and civil matters.
