Cecily practices in the firm’s Corporate Department.
In addition to her experience as a summer associate at Lowenstein, during law school Cecily worked on entity formation, board development, and regulatory issues for Duke Law’s Start-Up Ventures Clinic, a pro bono program providing legal advice and assistance to entrepreneurs, and to seed and early stage entrepreneurial ventures.
Cecily was also a member of Duke University’s Science, Law & Policy (SLAP) Lab where she participated in research projects about the development of new technology and privacy law.
Cecily is committed to pro bono service. She volunteered with North Carolina Legal Aid’s Lawyer on the Line program throughout law school, helping primarily with housing and expunction cases.
