Adam Dickson represents and advises entrepreneurs, emerging companies, and investors in the technology, consumer goods, and entertainment industries on capital raising transactions, general corporate governance, and transactional matters.

He has advised major investment banks, institutional corporate borrowers, private investment funds, and their portfolio companies in a wide variety of corporate matters, including leveraged lending transactions and private equity M&A transactions valued at over one billion dollars.

Adam is a former associate of several Am Law 50 firms where he practiced in the Private Equity, Mergers & Acquisitions group and the Banking & Finance group, respectively. While in law school, he interned for the Hon. Robert H. Cleland of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.                 

Prior to his legal career, Adam worked in the music industry and specialized in music licensing and royalty administration while working for the then-largest independent digital distributor of music in the country. He also worked in the YouTube music licensing group at Google.

  • Represented Acrew Capital in a $35 million Series C financing in Coin Metrics, the leading provider of crypto financial intelligence.
  • Represented Vest, app-based brokerage aimed at Latin American market, in its Series Seed funding round.
  • Represented Aetion, the leading regulatory-grade real-world evidence (RWE) technology provider, in its acquisition of Replica Analytics, a pioneer in using artificial intelligence (AI) for synthetic health data generation.
  • Represented global venture capital firm, GGV Capital, as lead investor in a $125 million investment in the credit card-led fintech, Stori, one of the largest Series C equity financing rounds in Latin America to date.
  • Represented Bigeye, the provider of the leading data observability platform, in its $45 million Series B funding raise to further its leadership in the emerging category. 
  • Represented 645 Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm, in its Series A preferred stock financing investment in Skydropx, a Mexico City-based logistics management platform that helps reduce time and costs by centralizing shipments in one place to provide better customer service
  • Represented Ezra, the healthcare artificial intelligence (AI) company transforming MRI imaging and early cancer detection, in a $21 million fund raise.
