Reynold Lambert, partner in Lowenstein’s Business Litigation and Class Action Litigation groups and President of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey (HBA-NJ), has been recognized by two prominent New Jersey publications: He is included in both the 2021 ROI Influencers: People of Color, an annual list of “difference makers” in New Jersey, and the New Jersey Law Journal’s list of the 2021 Diverse Attorneys of the Year.

ROI notes that Lambert’s law practice “focuses on business disputes, class actions and international arbitrations — but his passion revolves around helping others. Son of Cuban immigrants, he gives back by organizing initiatives and addressing issues that affect the Hispanic community.”

The New Jersey Law Journal, published by Law.com, states that each individual selected for its list “shares a passion for and commitment to the law, and to advancing the legal profession.”

A graduate of both Rutgers Law School and Rutgers University, Lambert develops and oversees litigation strategies for class actions and other disputes throughout the United States. He represented the State of New Jersey as special outside counsel in the state’s lawsuit against Volkswagen, Audi, and Porsche in the consumer fraud scandal known as “dieselgate,” where he negotiated a $69 million settlement payment to the state by the auto manufacturers.

In his role as HBA-NJ President, Lambert organizes and leads initiatives, programs, and public advocacy activities aimed at fostering a more diverse legal landscape and addressing issues that affect the Hispanic community. He also is a Board Member of Essex-Newark Legal Services and a former Committee Member of the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Model (Civil) Jury Charges.
