The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) published the AI Intellectual Property and Transactions Digital Advertising Playbook, co-authored by Lowenstein partners Matt Savare and Bryan Sterba.

The publication examines generative AI’s integration into the digital advertising lifecycle and the significant, complex questions around intellectual property, data rights, content licensing, and liability that this development raises. This thought leadership is intended primarily for legal and procurement professionals—both in-house and external—who evaluate, draft, or negotiate agreements related to the use of data and intellectual property by AI-powered products.

Savare is Chair of Lowenstein’s Commercial Contracts practice and a member of the firm’s IP & Tech Transactions, Artificial Intelligence, and Emerging Companies & Venture Capital groups. A veteran of high-profile representations in the digital advertising, media, and entertainment sectors, he has represented clients in copyright, trademark, trade secret, and right-of-publicity matters with a particular emphasis on how new and emerging technologies are disrupting traditional businesses.

Sterba is a member of Lowenstein’s IP & Tech Transactions, Artificial Intelligence, and Emerging Companies & Venture Capital groups.
