Lowenstein Sandler has been named to NJBIZ’s 2020 Best Places to Work in New Jersey in the large-company category (employers with 250+ employees). This is the ninth consecutive year that Lowenstein has earned a place on the list.

This annual ranking identifies and honors the top places of employment in New Jersey that benefit the state’s economy and workforce.

The firm was also recently included in Crain’s list of 2019 Best Places to Work in New York City in the large-companies category (those with over 101 employees in the city). The Crain’s list is an annual ranking of employers that demonstrate a “commitment to creating a supportive, collegial, and empowering workplace.”

The rankings of the 100 Best Places to Work in New Jersey will be unveiled at a September 17, 2020, awards ceremony at The Event Center @iPA in Freehold, NJ. A special publication profiling the selected companies will also be released by NJBIZ.

“We are honored that NJBIZ has once again recognized our firm as one of the best places to work in New Jersey,” said Gary M. Wingens, Lowenstein’s Chair and Managing Partner. “For all the firm’s business success, we have never lost sight of the fact that people come first. In fact, we attribute much of our impressive growth to the satisfaction and pride our lawyers and staff have in the firm, the meaningful work they do, and the appreciation they get for their excellent client service.”

“Here at Lowenstein, we continually seek new ways to foster a culture of inclusivity and innovation, because these are the reasons our lawyers and business professionals repeatedly say they love working here,” said Lowenstein Chief Human Resources Officer Donatella Verrico. ”Our competitive compensation, diversified benefits, and wellness programs, in addition to our professional development programs and overall collegial environment, create a place where employees are proud and happy to work.”

The Best Places to Work in New Jersey list comprises 100 companies that are categorized as small, medium, or large organizations. To qualify, a company has to have at least 15 permanent employees; be a for-profit, nonprofit, or government entity; be a publicly or privately held business; have a facility in New Jersey; and be in business for a minimum of one year. The analysis for making the list is based on two surveys: the Employer Questionnaire and the Employee Survey (ES). Best Places to Work companies are selected based upon participation with the Best Places to Work survey administered by Best Companies Group. The program collects data confidentially, allowing employees to comfortably share feedback about the companies they work for–and for those companies to interpret and act on what they’ve learned.
