This course will discuss how conducting ecological evaluations have evolved not only through regulatory and guidance updates, but also with emerging contaminants that must now be evaluated and considered, despite limited toxicological data. This course will also address future climate risks and promote sustainable practices as part of New Jersey's new Protection Against Climate Threats (PACT) legislation. Additionally, the presenters will provide updates to land use rules and the protection of ecological resources in new development and restoration projects.
