Paul focuses on corporate law matters for major corporations and private equity sponsors in a variety of areas, and has worked on an array of M&A and private equity transactions. He also has experience in capital markets in representing issuers and underwriters in a wide array of securities offerings.
Prior to joining the firm, Paul was a corporate associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges.
Representative matters include:
- Represented Catalyst Investors in a $30.1 million Series C equity financing of BrightFarms Inc. (greenhouse farm designer, builder, and operator), the largest equity investment to date in the controlled environment local produce industry.
- Represented J. Fletcher Creamer & Son Inc.–a 90-plus-year-old national heavy construction company that focuses on renewable energy; fiber optics; and bridge, highway, runway, and bulkhead construction, among other things–in its sale to APi Group.
In his pro bono work, Paul has counseled a New Jersey-based environmental organization, a nonprofit organization focused on urban beautification using graffiti art, a startup apparel company, and a client based in the Middle East seeking asylum in the United States.
