Tanna’s practice focuses on investment management, securities matters, and other corporate issues relating to the structure and formation of private investment funds, as well as compliance and regulatory matters.
Tanna drafts offering, governing, and ancillary documents for onshore and offshore investment funds and their managers, including limited partnership agreements, investment management agreements, subscription agreements, directors’ resolutions, and company policies and procedures. She also negotiates services agreements, confidentiality agreements, employment and termination agreements, and investor side letters.
Prior to joining the firm, Tanna served as Chief Operations Officer at a flavor technology startup. She also worked as senior counsel at a boutique law firm and as a corporate law associate in the asset management group of a large Am Law 100 firm.
During law school, she interned for Chief U.S. Magistrate Judge Lisa Margaret Smith of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
