Rob represents emerging companies and venture funds. His practice addresses all phases of a startup company’s life cycle, from formation and financings through acquisitions and public offerings, as well as day-to-day corporate counseling. Over the course of his career, Rob has closed over 100 venture capital financings (as either investor or company counsel), ranging from small seed-stage angel investments to large, late-stage growth equity rounds.
Rob's practice includes a focus on digital media companies, both emerging and established, as well as major media investors, for which he handles wide-ranging issues in the media space, including employment, intellectual property, and commercial contracts matters. He also has broad experience in the health care, regulated technology, and consumer services space on both the company and investor side.
Prior to joining Lowenstein Sandler, Rob was an associate at Cooley LLP, where he counseled startup and emerging company clients on formation, capitalization, corporate governance, commercial contracts, intellectual property, employee equity, and patent litigation issues in preparation for seed, venture capital, and private equity financings.
