Robert represents emerging companies in venture capital and private equity financings. His practice focuses on startups, angel financings, venture capital financings, and public and private mergers and acquisitions transactions. In addition, he provides general counsel to early-stage startup companies, especially on strategic and corporate governance matters.
Prior to joining Lowenstein Sandler, Robert was an associate at Cooley LLP, where he counseled startup and emerging company clients on formation, capitalization, corporate governance, commercial contracts, intellectual property, employee equity, and patent litigation issues in preparation for seed, venture capital, and private equity financings. He also has experience preparing initial public offerings and follow-on offerings for health care and technology companies.
