Kevin assists in preparing and prosecuting patent applications involving a wide range of software and Internet-related technologies, including Internet of things (IoT), semiconductor fabrication, machine learning, cryptography, and computer architecture.

Kevin is a former member of the Utah National Guard, where he served as a system administrator; he assembled and tested complex hardware systems across the nation and assisted with management of several information systems, maintaining secret security clearance.

He is fluent in Cantonese.
