Edoardo focuses his practice on business litigation and regulatory compliance. He has broad experience involving contract disputes, complex commercial litigation defense, regulatory and licensing matters, cross-border trade regulation (AML, OFAC, FCPA/anti-corruption, EAR), and corporate investigations for domestic and international clients in the pharmaceutical, telecom, investment management, cannabis, and manufacturing industries, among others.
In addition to his work in private practice, Edoardo is involved in various civic initiatives. He is Deputy National Finance Director for the Hispanic National Bar Association where he develops and nurtures relationships with businesses and other organizations across the country in support of the HNBA’s mission. Edoardo sits on the Board of Trustees for the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey. Additionally, Edoardo mentors high school, college, and law school students considering legal careers through the American Dream Pipeline and PRLDEF Next Generation Lideres programs.
Edoardo leads the firm’s LGBTQ Alliance recruiting and retention committee, and is a member of the firm’s Diversity Leadership Network. He maintains an active pro bono practice, which has included: representation of unaccompanied minors and victims of the family separation crisis in US Immigration Court and before the USCIS Asylum Office; securing legal name changes for refugees fleeing LGBTQ persecution; advising an educational institution on FERPA compliance relating to undocumented students; and advising an NGO on legislation to safely extend driving privileges to undocumented persons.
Prior to joining the firm, Edoardo clerked for the Ventura County Public Defender in California and worked in Cornell Law School’s Farmworker Legal Assistance clinic.
