Zarema A. Jaramillo, Managing Partner of the firm’s Washington, D.C., office, is quoted in Bloomberg Law and Law360 on the FTC’s amended complaint alleging antitrust violations against Facebook. In Bloomberg, Jaramillo says, The FTC did a decent job explaining why some of the other online networks can’t compete at the same level as Facebook—and they focused on Snap Chat as the only other viable competitor in what is a narrow market. ... I think if they survive the motion to dismiss, that will give the advertisers more leverage [in their pending lawsuits against Facebook].” In Law360, she adds that, although she does not know if the amended complaint will survive dismissal, "[The FTC’s] prospects seem much better.”
