Kristi Nicholes is an associate in Lowenstein Sandler’s Corporate Department and a member of the Tech Group. Kristi’s practice focuses on intellectual property matters in the area of patents. She counsels clients in connection with patent application preparation and prosecution and intellectual property transactions, as well as on transactional matters including intellectual property due diligence, and asset purchase, licensing, joint development and non-disclosure agreements.
Kristi has prosecuted numerous domestic and foreign patent applications in chemical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, mechanical, electromechanical, financial products and software-related areas, including semiconductor processing tools, distribution equipment, chemicals and slurries, ultrahigh vacuum pumps, gas and liquid abatement, chemical metrology, diagnostic methods, dental compositions, medical devices, polymer compositions for cosmetics, food compositions, biochemical mass labels, therapeutic peptides and other organic compounds for treating diseases, materials, and financial services. She also counsels clients on worldwide portfolio management, enforcement, and strategies. In addition, Kristi has prosecuted numerous US and foreign design patent applications directed to jewelry articles, drafted opinions and supported patent and copyright litigations.
