Keara’s practice is focused on representing debtors, creditors’ committees, and other parties in the context of complex Chapter 11 bankruptcies, as well as litigating adversary proceedings and other contested matters.

Committed to community service, Keara maintains a steady pro bono practice representing debtors in Chapter 7 bankruptcies, as well as unaccompanied minors in immigration proceedings. She recently served as the Alan V. Lowenstein Fellow at Essex-Newark Legal Services, where she represented low-income individuals in landlord-tenant disputes both in court and in administrative proceedings.

A former summer associate with Lowenstein Sandler, Keara has prior experience that includes positions as law clerk to the Honorable Dennis Cavanaugh, U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and legal intern at the Bishop Francis Center for Legal Immigration Services at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark.
