Jennifer’s practice focuses on advising hedge funds, private equity funds, venture funds, and other pooled investment vehicles on matters such as structuring, formation, and ongoing operational needs, as well as on regulatory and compliance issues. She also advises startups regarding corporate governance, financings, and investment rounds.
Active in pro bono matters, Jennifer works with KIND (Kids in Need of Defense) representing children in immigration matters. She has also advised nonprofits regarding corporate governance.
In addition to her work as a corporate lawyer, Jennifer serves on the board of the Essex County chapter of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), an organization that trains and supervises volunteers who advocate for the best interests of children removed from their homes because of abuse or neglect. As a volunteer coach with Girls on the Run, Jennifer helps inspire girls to be healthy and confident. She is also a Certified Holistic Health Coach.
Jennifer is a former summer associate with the firm. She also practiced labor and employment law in Pennsylvania, and served as the Chief Innovation Officer and Director of Marketing for a closely held family pharmacy in Wilkes-Barre. While in law school, Jennifer served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Andrew Napolitano of the Superior Court of New Jersey.
