A leader in investment management law, Ed advises large funds on issues relating to the rapidly evolving global marketplace. His principal areas of focus include the structuring, formation, and operation of private investment funds.

Ed provides insight and counsel with respect to hedge funds, joint ventures, mutual funds, funds of funds, and employee plans. He offers guidance on complex legal and compliance matters relating to the operations of startup firms in private equity, including the development of new products and the negotiation of fund investments. Internally, Ed is a member of the firm’s Investment Management Group and a key contributor to its growth and entrepreneurial culture.
