With nearly 20 years of litigation experience in federal and state courts, David provides critical litigation support to the firm’s bankruptcy practice and counsel to a diverse client base. He prosecutes and defends adversary proceedings and contested matters in bankruptcies, including fraudulent transfers, preferences, Article 9 security interests and liens, and lien avoidance actions. David also defends similar claims brought in the context of assignment for the benefit of creditors (ABC) proceedings.

David’s significant experience in fiduciary litigation matters includes will contests, guardianship proceedings, and contested accountings. He is known for his extraordinary patience and resolve in these proceedings, which are often emotionally charged.

An avid volunteer, David is a board member and past president of Habitat for Humanity of Bergen County, and is dedicated to the cause of providing decent, affordable housing for local families. In his continued support of the group’s mission, David is leading efforts to open a Habitat ReStore in Bergen County, New Jersey.

International Paper Co. – represents the largest pulp and paper company in the world in various litigation matters, including defense of claims asserted in an assignment for benefit of creditors and federal and state court collection matters.
Premier Salons – represents this North America beauty services provider in connection with lender claims.
Chase Paymentech – a subsidiary of JPMorgan Chase, represented this global leader in payment processing solutions in various bankruptcy litigation matters involving preservation of post-petition credit card processing rights and obligations.
