April 19, 2011
Hilton Woodbridge
Iselin, NJ

Nicole Stefanelli will speak on the topic, "U.S. Mortgage - A Cautionary Tale of One of the Largest Frauds in NJ History," at the Association for Corporate Growth and Turnaround Management Association's Annual Joint Breakfast Meeting. In 2009, executives at U.S. Mortgage, a $1 billion provider of home mortgages headquartered in Pine Brook, NJ, were revealed to have committed a $136 million theft against Fannie Mae and a number of credit unions, making it one of the largest discovered frauds in New Jersey history. The panel will discuss the situation's cause, aftermath, and "Lessons of U.S. Mortgage."
