Kimberly Diamond will be moderating the teleconference "The Current State of Carbon Trading " which is sponsored by the American Bar Association's (ABA's) Carbon Trading and Energy Finance Committee, and is co-sponsored by the ABA's Renewable and Distributed Energy Resources Committee. The current state of carbon trading globally is a rapidly-changing, evolving space. While the U.S. has not yet adopted national legislation that addresses carbon trading and carbon finance measures, initiatives abroad in Europe and Canada, as well as domestic initiatives in California, are moving forward to shape the carbon trading marketplace. This Quick Teleconference Program will enable anyone with an interest in this space to get their finger on the pulse of the current state of the global carbon markets today.
