Shirley Dai is a bankruptcy lawyer who represents debtors, creditors and committees in complex Chapter 11 cases.
Prior to joining Lowenstein Sandler, Shirley served as a law clerk to the Honorable Margaret Cangilos-Ruiz of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of New York. Previously, Shirley served as a legal extern with the Congressional Oversight Panel in Washington, D.C., and to the Honorable Samuel L. Bufford of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California.
During law school, Shirley was chief articles editor of the UCLA Journal of International Law and Foreign Affairs. She was recognized by the Los Angeles County Bar Association and received an Outstanding Student Award in Bankruptcy.
