Richard J. Horne is Counsel in the firm’s Tax Group in New York. His practice focuses on the taxation of business transactions.
Mr. Horne previously served as Counsel to a leading New York City firm where he structured, negotiated, and documented business and investment transactions, including international and domestic mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, spin-offs, securitizations, joint ventures, initial public offerings, and other capital market transactions. He also formed and advised hedge funds and private equity funds.
From 1993 to 1997, Richard Horne served as a Senior Tax Associate in the International Tax Practice Group at Deloitte & Touche in New York. There, Mr. Horne researched and analyzed various inbound and outbound transactions in connection with reorganization of multinational corporations, repatriation planning, and foreign tax credit planning.
