Raymond Cappo is a Patent Agent in the firm’s Tech Group. Mr. Cappo specializes in all facets of patent procurement in the electrical and computer arts. Mr. Cappo has experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications in diverse areas that include electronics, telecommunications, encryption algorithms, electromechanical control systems, optics and electromagnetics. In addtion, Mr. Cappo has provided technical expertise in patent validity and infringement investigations. He has conducted numerous patentability searches for a variety of client products.
Prior to joining Lowenstein Sandler, Mr. Cappo worked for three years as a patent agent for McCarter & English LLP in Newark, New Jersey. Prior to becoming a patent agent, Mr. Cappo designed and developed telecommunications hardware and software, as a Member of Technical Staff at Lucent Technologies/AT&T Bell Laboratories.
