Waleey Fatai works on a variety of corporate matters, including fund formation, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and other complex transactions.
Prior to obtaining his J.D. in the United States, Waleey worked as a licensed attorney at a tier-A law firm in Nigeria, concentrating on various areas of corporate law, finance, and general business advisory services. His experience includes devising a mix of equity and debt finance structures to execute a market-defining acquisition; and advising on cross-border intercompany arrangements, data regulations, and legal and regulatory risks for clients across multiple industries, such as technology, health, and oil and gas. .
He speaks English, Nigerian Pidgin English, and Yoruba.
