Melissa Parres represents public and private companies, private equity funds, and strategic investors in complex corporate transactions, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. She works closely with clients throughout the transaction cycle, drafting and negotiating merger agreements, stock and asset purchase agreements, partnership agreements, and governance documentation.

Melissa also counsels clients on cross-border transactions, auctions, divestitures, joint ventures, minority investments, corporate governance, and other corporate and securities matters.

While pursuing her J.D., Melissa interned for The Hon. William H. Pauley III in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, and for The Estée Lauder Companies.
